Some of my favorite places: Disney World & Italy

Some of my favorite places I have been to are Disney World and Italy. I have made many great memories in these places, and I will always enjoy looking back on my experiences at these sites.

Disney World:
Over this Christmas break I traveled to Orlando, Florida with my family. There we visited the happiest place on Earth, Disney World. It was a blast, and I loved spending Christmas there with my family. It was such an amazing trip, I hope to go back there again soon!

Italy:
The first time I traveled out of the country was the Summer of 2015 when I was going to Italy on a study abroad program. While in Italy, our group traveled to Arezzo, Florence, Rome, Cinque Terre, and a few other towns. I would admire the beautiful scenery and historic architecture everywhere we went. Being in Italy was an incredible experience, and I am glad I got to share the experience with my professors and classmates from OU.

I enjoyed telling you a few of my favorite places, and I hope this post inspires you to travel to these places some day.

  1. There's something special about places where you've made memories! There are all kinds of places that are incredibly cool or beautiful, but so much of that experience is wasted if you don't share that moment with someone else! Disney is such a unique experience; i definitely have some cool memories of the Buzz Lightyear ride and Space Mountain with my family. I'm glad you shared these places with us!

  2. Oh, how great that you were able to go to Italy, Tori! I did a lot of my graduate school work at the university in Siena, so I visited Arezzo also, plus lots of places in Tuscany, also Venice, Rome... so much great stuff to see. Maybe you will want to do an Italy project for this class! There is a unit of Italian fairy tales in the UnTextbook, and lots of wonderful Italian story collections online too: Freebookapalooza: Italy

  3. Hey Tori!

Both of these places are amazing. Although I have never been to Italy, I loved Disney World! I really wished that I would have been able to visit Disney World when I was younger, because I feel like I would have been in heaven. I visited when I was sixteen, but it was still super fun. Italy is one of the places that is definitely on my bucket list. Seeing pictures of it really makes me want to visit! Thank you for sharing!
