Some Awesome & Praiseworthy Feedback Strategies :)
This article was interesting, but my perspective on feedback is similar to this idea of "feedforward". I think it is very important to receive critiques on previous performance, and then to discuss specific ways to improve future performance. The article discusses how giving feedback regarding the past is not allowed during the feedforward process, but in my opinion I feel feedback back about the past an important aspect. I liked the ideas presented in the article, but I do not agree with everything it discusses.
I really enjoyed this article because it made me question my beliefs about praising desired behavior. In the business world, I have experienced this and learned about praising employees as a management strategy.
I feel I often give too much praise, and after reading this I am more aware of this. Hopefully, I can practice these techniques during my blog commenting because I probably have been giving too much praise instead of feedback on my classmates' blogs.
